2018 WCIS Football Queen 2018 WCIS Football Princess 2018 WCIS Football Queen and Princess Teachers are utilizing high interest, multigenre content to engage readers during ELA instruction. Lunch with the Principal Lunch with the Principal Family Reading Night is a great opportunity to share books with family. Students investigate the chemical reaction of vinegar and baking soda during this scientific experiment. Students in Mrs. Clemens's science lab learn about Newton's second law of motion: force = mass x acceleration through a tug of war experiement. Welcome back!  It's going to be a great school year!!!! Open House 2018-2019 Teachers welcome students and parents/guardians during Open House Save the Children Program distributing free books during Open House KPREP here we come! We LOVE our Cardinals! Superintendent joins music class!

   Superintendent Siler joins music classIn Mrs. Sue Anne Bryant's Visual Performing Art classes they are learning how to read music notes.  Superintendent John Siler    followed the sound of lovely music through the halls at WCIS and decided to stop in for a quick lesson.  Students gladly                volunteered to help Mr. Siler figure out the notes to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on the xylophone.   Let's see if he returns for      another visit when they get the recorders out!
